The team at Cape was privileged to have Sarah de Lagarde join a recent internal event, during which she spoke to the team about her incredible journey of crisis, challenge, change and resilience.

In September 2022 Sarah was faced with a life-changing incident which resulted in her becoming a double amputee. Her survival of the near-death experience, recovery and journey to using her bionic arm – a feat of technology and innovation – are all topics which were touched upon, along with her incredible lessons in communication, resilience and even finding the humour in her darkest days.
