Meet René Pfister

René joined Cape in August 2024 as a Portfolio Manager in the Advisory team, where he provides strategic support to clients and advisors on a daily basis. His role involves aligning asset allocations with strategic target exposures, managing cash and foreign exchange positions, and optimizing portfolio performance. René’s expertise lies in ensuring that portfolios are consistently aligned with our clients' financial goals, while effectively managing risk and capitalizing on market opportunities.

René began his career with an apprenticeship at a Swiss bank, followed by a business degree from ZHAW. He gained experience in pension fund management before completing an MBA at a business school in Madrid. Most recently, René worked as a data analyst and ESG client advisor at an investment services firm in Madrid.

René is known for his strong client focus, always striving to deliver exceptional service and build lasting relationships by understanding and addressing clients' unique needs and goals.

Outside of work, René is passionate about outdoor sports and enjoys exploring new destinations, appreciating good food, and immersing himself in music. His love for adventure and diverse experiences keeps him energized and inspired both in his personal life and professional career.
