Meet Jordan Seligmann

Jordan started at Cape Capital in April 2023, as a Research Analyst in the Cross Asset team. His role involves a multitude of tasks which enable him to support the portfolio managers in creating the best possible fund opportunities for our clients, using his expertise in quantitative analysis, modeling and programming, as well as independent project management.

Jordan has prior experience in family offices, hedge funds and consultancies – all following his educational achievements including a Masters in Quantitative Finance from ETH/UZH and a Bachelors in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town.

At the same time as working for Cape, Jordan is qualifying as an actuary, and is a self-taught programmer, which is a professional and personal passion for him.

Outside of work Jordan enjoys chess which he has played competitively, as well as card games, hiking, skiing and reading up on world politics.
