Meet Michelle Nestola

Michelle joined Cape in July 2024, and is an intern on the Private Equity team at Cape Capital, where she is responsible for summarizing quarterly reports and organizing financial statements, among other tasks. In addition, she supports the investment team with both current and new deals, from sourcing to monitoring.

Before joining Cape, Michelle earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Gallen and is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Finance at HEC Paris. She also gained experience in the operations department of an energy trading company and the macroeconomic analysis team at a large international asset manager.

Known for her precision and dedication to understanding the deeper logic of any task, Michelle takes pride in doing things correctly. Her authenticity and honesty make her a highly trusted team member.

When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find Michelle by the sea, indulging her passion for boats—a love rooted in her native southern Italian heritage. She’s also passionate about music, having played the piano for several years, and enjoys cinema, cooking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
