Meet Nikola Popovic

Nikola joined Cape Capital on 1st July, 2024 as a Fixed Income Intern, working closely with both the Fixed Income and Equity teams. He interprets financial data to inform decision-making, conducts industry research, and helps build models for evaluating security trading opportunities.

Nikola holds a BA from the University of Chicago, double majoring in Economics and Russian and East European Studies. Currently, he is pursuing an MA in Quantitative Economics and Finance at HSG. He also has prior experience in asset management and consulting.

Fluent in Serbian, Russian, English, and German, Nikola adds to the diverse linguistic and cultural perspectives of the Cape team.

Outside of the financial world, Nikola loves to indulge his passion for cooking, and attended an intensive French culinary course at Le Cordon Bleu in London. He enjoys the Swiss mountains, spending his summers hiking and winters skiing.
