Meet Philipp Schlumpf

Philipp is Cape Capital’s Risk Manager and has been with the firm since 2015.

In his role, Philipp protects Cape’s reputation in a number of ways. He mitigates undue market, operational and credit risks and ensures Cape adheres to all necessary regulatory guidelines and frameworks.

A true expert in his field, Philipp previously held managerial risk positions in investment banking and hedge funds for many years prior to joining Cape.

His level-headedness and ability to cope under extreme pressure stands him in good stead outside of work as well as in the office – Cape employees all know who to turn to when faced with a challenge!

When he is not juggling his many tasks at work, Philipp likes to spend time with his wife and children, exploring new restaurants, movies and even dance moves!
